BTAConnect accepts Visa, Mastercard and wire transfers.
My payment is listed as declined, why?
There are two main reasons why your payment may be declined.
- Incorrect payment method- BTAConnect will only take Visa and Mastercard payments.

If the billing information is placed even on the wrong address line it will decline the payment. When in doubt, please contact you bank for assistance.
Standards & Trainings
What standards and training opportunities are there available from the BTA?
The BTA launched a subsidiary online learning platform called BTA+. The platform delivers industry-related training and educational lessons to inspire individuals, businesses, and partners with the purpose of strengthening our island's reputation as a destination of choice.
The BTA will also be launching two new standards programmes, AnchorBDA and Bermuda Hospitality Service Standards.
- Anchor BDA will replace the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) programme. AnchorBDA has been designed for all residents to become ambassadors for Bermuda. An 'all-hands-on-deck' approach is imperative to move our island forward and create impactful, long-lasting change in the hospitality and tourism industry.
- The BTA developed the Bermuda Hospitality Service Standards Certification, formerly known as the National Service Standards Programme, to support businesses in providing quality services, improving competitive advantage, and creating value within our island.
