The Bermuda Specialist Programme is a dedicated online training course created for travel trade professionals. It equips agents with the knowledge and insight needed to confidently sell Bermuda as a distinctive Atlantic island destination ideal for leisure, group and special-interest travel. 

Whether you are new to selling Bermuda or looking to refresh your expertise, this programme helps you confidently match the island's unique offerings to your clients' needs. 

The programme features three core modules:

Bermuda Specilalist Programme

Chapter 1: Lost Yet Found (Where is Bermuda?)

This chapter focuses on our location, proximity message, and flight access, helping to correct misconceptions and highlight our ease of travel.

Chapter 2: Adventures for Every Season

This chapter focuses on how in Bermuda, you’re never far from the sea. The island’s 21 square miles (34 km2) of coastline are lined with beaches that range from wide pink-sand crescents to tiny hidden coves framed by limestone cliffs. This chapter will focus on all things you can do in Bermuda.

Chapter 3: Group Hotels

This chapter focuses on an introduction to Bermuda’s impressive variety of group-friendly hotels and resorts, each with its own distinct character, location, and amenities.

Bermuda: An Award-Winning Island Destination

Bermuda continues to earn global recognition as a premier island destination. In 2025, the island was named #1 Top Island in the Caribbean & Atlantic in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for the third consecutive year, based on more than 757,000 traveler votes.

Top hotels were also celebrated: Hamilton Princess & Beach Club ranked the top hotel in Bermuda and eighth among Atlantic Islands hotels, while Rosewood Bermuda was recognized for its exceptional guest experience. The Bermuda Tourism Authority received HSMAI Adrian Awards for excellence in digital marketing, social media, PR, and experiential campaigns, highlighting the island’s innovative approach to travel promotion. Bermuda was also included on the Wanderlust Good to Go List 2025 and featured in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, further solidifying its reputation as a must-visit destination.

Bermuda’s commitment to tourism excellence is reflected in its people as well. Kiira Grant, Standards and Training Specialist at the BTA, was named to Destinations International’s “30 Under 30 Class of 2025.” The award recognizes rising leaders in global tourism for their dedication to service standards and training, strengthening Bermuda’s vital tourism sector.
