The Clipper Round The World Race is a record-breaking 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on a fleet of eleven identical 70-foot ocean racing yacht, divided into eight legs between 13 and 16 individual races. Bermuda is making its debut on the Clipper Race circuit as a Host Port and with a competing yacht named GoToBermuda. It's Bermuda Ambassadors are Chanara Smith-Rookes and Matthew Stephens joining race legs 7 and 8 to the finale. This is the only race in the world where the organisers supply the fleet of ocean racing yachts, each with a fully qualified skipper and first mate to safely guide the crew who come from diverse walks of life and nations around the world.
