"Purchase with a Purpose” and Share Bermuda Day Pride
Friday, May 22, 2020
Hamilton, Bermuda (May 22, 2020)—As residents celebrate Heritage Month and the upcoming Bermuda Day holiday, the Bermuda Visitor Services Centres have launched “Purchase with a Purpose”—a campaign to share island pride and make a difference.
The effort encourages individuals, families and businesses to purchase official Bermuda merchandise and share their island pride on social media. Part proceeds of all purchases will be donated to “Serving the Servers,” a relief project organised by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce to support struggling restaurant workers through the pandemic.
“We’re excited to contribute to this important initiative through a campaign we hope will also help showcase our true Bermy spirit,” said Jakai Franks, Manager of Operations, Bermuda Visitor Services Centres (BVSCs). “Even though the island can’t celebrate in the annual Parade, Half-Marathon Derby or other Bermuda Day festivities, we can still show off some strong national pride next week.”
Products include custom Bermuda S’well bottles, Bermuda beach towels, Bermuda tote bags, Bermuda journals and magnet sets, “Ace Girl” & “Ace Boy” t-shirts, men’s and women’s Bermuda logo t-shirts and baseball caps, and unisex long-sleeve hoodies.
All merchandise orders can be placed by emailing [email protected] or by calling our Hamilton location Monday–Thursday, 10am–4pm at 261-2872. Orders will be ready on the next business day via kerbside pickup at the Hamilton Visitor Services Centre, Front Street. Delivery is available for bulk orders.
