PGA TOUR Tees Off This Fall in Bermuda

This official PGA TOUR event at Bermuda’s famed Port Royal Golf Course offers a backdrop of clear, blue waters and stunning greens, to be televised internationally on the Golf Channel from October 31 to November 3, 2019.

With non-stop flights less than two hours from major East Coast cities, you can get out here to watch, play and enjoy this exciting Pro-Am game yourself. Players, families, fans and viewers can see why Bermuda was named “Best Island in the Atlantic & Caribbean” by Condé Nast Traveler.

Lush TifEagle™ greens and sweeping water views from nearly every hole, Port Royal, designed by Robert Trent Jones, hosted the Grand Slam from 2009 until its final year in 2014. A specialty event for the year’s major championship winners, the likes of Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson and Ernie Els have all had a swing over the 16th hole – the course’s signature par-3 offers a clear shot across the ocean to the green, which is perched on a coastal peninsula.

The Bermuda Championship, The PGA TOUR’s first official annual event will be played the same week as the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions. The 72-hole competition, with an anticipated field of 120 professionals, will carry a purse of $3 million and offer 300 FedExCup points to the champion.
