There are few people in Bermuda better suited to provide that one-of-a-kind treasure than perfumer Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstone, owner of the Bermuda Perfumery. Her line of perfumes, Lili Bermuda, are available only in Bermuda and through the company’s online store.

“Our goal is to tell the story of Bermuda,” she says. "The ocean breeze, the salt air, the luscious botanicals. We want to provide clients with a way to reconnect to this magical place after they return home."

LITTLE INDULGENCES

When it comes to leisure time on the Island, Isabelle has no shortage of little ways to indulge. She recommends the following highlights: Lunch at Wahoo’s Bistro & Patio with Chef Alfred’s Wahoo Ceviche and Bermuda Fish Chowder. Champagne with a sunset view at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. Shopping at Lusso for shoes, or popping into Alexandra Mosher Studio Jewellery to explore the new jewellery collections.

LOW-KEY & FREE ATTRACTIONS

“It’s important to know immersing yourself in Bermuda’s beauty doesn’t require money,” Isabelle says. “Go to Astwood Park and climb down onto the little secluded beach. Take a picnic to Hungry Bay. Wander through Tom Moore's Jungle and take in its feast for the senses. Just strolling through St. George’s is a special experience.”

A Bermuda resident for over a decade, Isabelle’s passion for her island is summed up with her simple statement: “This is my home. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.”
