Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society

Since 1945, the Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society (BMDS) has been a valuable resource for theatre lovers, whether visitors or locals. Every year’s schedule is packed with shows and concerts, ranging from classic Broadway musicals to new works from Bermudian playwrights. And there’s always a little room for Shakespeare, too. Performances usually take place at the Daylesford Theatre/Bar in Hamilton.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals

Every March, Harvard University’s legendary Hasty Pudding comedic theatre group returns to Hamilton’s City Hall Theatre to perform its inimitable “no-holds-barred burlesque,” with men playing both the male and female roles. It's hilarious stuff that has to be seen to be believed.

The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts

Each January through March, for the past 40 years, the island has transformed into a hub for cultural exchange and artistic growth. The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts brings international and local artists (musicians, actors, dancers and more) together for a two-month, world-class celebration that grows with each passing year.

Haunted History Tours

If you’re a fan of all things spooky, this tour’s for you. Covering over four centuries of Bermuda history, guides will take you on a nighttime stroll down the winding alleys and lanes of St. George’s while some of the island’s best actors, dressed ghoulishly, share haunted stories about the town, its famous residents and buildings.
