The site of community celebrations, including Oktoberfest and the Christmas Market as well as many a wedding, the Victorian victualling yard is an historical treasure – though it was once a storage area for food and drink supplies of the Royal Navy. Managed by the West End Development Corporation (WEDCO), the open square is lined by palmettos and two large historic buildings once used as warehouse spaces. The romantic, open air venue is gorgeous for saying vows and receptions can be held in one of the many indoor venues and restaurants in the Royal Naval Dockyard.
Overlooking the Great Sound and Ely’s Harbour, Scaur Hill Fort and Park is a favourite space for dramatic views and outdoor events where you need to make an impact. Sitting alongside the old Railway Trail, the historic fort offers some of the best panoramic views of Bermuda’s West End. Built in the late 1860s, it includes a massive dry moat backed by tall ramparts that once held a pair of 64-pound cannons. Barr's Bay Park
