For centuries, seafaring voyagers left an indelible mark on Bermuda’s cuisine. Trade routes traversed the Atlantic, blending Old World traditions with those of the New World and West Indies. Reflecting these rich and diverse culinary influences, the resort’s signature restaurant delivers a contemporary take on the classic steakhouse experience, honoring eclectic global flavors, and Bermudian comfort foods. The menu regularly features dishes like the Bermuda benedict, inspired by the traditional codfish breakfast, alongside choice cuts of beef, fish, and produce from all over the world carrying on in the tradition of globally influenced flavors drawing from land and sea. At dinner, the setting remains relaxed, with an air of old-world sophistication. Diners can enjoy a perfectly roasted chateaubriand, carved table-side, and finish with a classic Crêpes Suzette flambéed with a touch of Bermuda's finest rum for a bit of theater. Vibrant and informal, the Island Brasserie takes its inspiration from a colonial-style home. Antique brass detailing and Gerard Henderson’s iconic hand-painted murals pay homage to Bermuda’s seafaring heritage. Indoors, the restaurant offers a relaxed and inviting setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outside, a terrace provides captivating views of Harrington Sound during the day and fireside warmth in the evening.

For a formal meal at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort, try the Hibiscus Restaurant, which offers an always-changing menu of European-style cuisine with a Bermudian twist. Resort guests can enjoy a full breakfast buffet each morning; lunch service is offered here during the winter months only, and by the pool at Bayside Terrace during the summer. The Frog & Onion Pub was created and opened in 1992 by a Bermudian (the Onion) and a Frenchman (the Frog) and is Bermuda's most unique Pub. Housed in the mid-18th century Cooperage in the historic Royal Naval Dockyard, it is a short walk from King's and Heritage Wharfs as well as the ferry dock.

The menu at The Frog & Onion features a selection of traditional English style classic pub food, innovative entrees, and some fantastic fresh seafood. Our pub has four indoor dining areas, and two outdoor ones making it one of the best establishments for both private dining and event planning in Bermuda.

The supremely comfortable and welcoming bar at The Frog & Onion is where visitors can meet with locals and make new friends and toast to great days. Sit down and watch your favorite sports team on one of the many flat screen TV's, while enjoying a pint of one of our local Dockyard Brewing Co. ales and beers.

Located at the Pompano Beach Club on Bermuda’s southwest coast, the Cedar Room is one of a small number of restaurants on the island where you can find a five-course dinner. The menu changes nightly and emphasises fine meats and local seafood with Bermudian touches, like blackened rockfish with lemongrass-papaya cream sauce. Breakfast is served daily year-round, while dinner is offered nightly May-October, and every other night the rest of the year. Its name comes from the wooden beams and wall panels that accent the restaurant – all fashioned from original Bermuda cedar. Four pastel-coloured wall murals by Bermuda artist Mary Zuill adorn the room, and nearly every table offers ocean views.

Bolero Brasserie is your quintessential neighborhood bistro. The entrance is tucked in a narrow alleyway just off Front Street in the City of Hamilton, giving the restaurant a sense of secrecy, a place only the locals know about.

Since 2007, Bolero has remained a favorite of the city, a welcoming sanctuary for an eclectic clientele from all walks of life.  When it comes to food, though, Bolero thrives by distancing itself from ‘the Bermuda norm’.

Taking inspiration from the ever-prevalent and vibrant upscale dining scene in the UK and Europe, we serve up good, honest food. Simplistic dishes with minimal ingredients and minimal fuss, nothing that you can call pretentious. Understanding the flavor of very simple ingredients and making them work, the various elements in dishes give Bolero diners the experience of excitement, fun, and comfort. Known locally for consistency and with many local accolades, it remains a classic neighborhood brasserie.
