About City of Hamilton
The capital and beating heart of the island, the City of Hamilton is a hub of international business and a jumping-off point for exploring Bermuda’s sights. Stretching along picturesque Hamilton Harbour, this modern city boasts world-class shopping, museums, galleries and gardens walking distance from the pastel-coloured buildings of Front Street, Hamilton’s main drag. On any given morning, you’ll spot local businessmen in Bermuda shorts commuting to work on scooters, greeting each other with a warm "Good morning”. Head to the east side of the city to explore historic Fort Hamilton or walk to the western end of Front Street to catch a scenic boat ride from the Hamilton Ferry Terminal.
