Cathedral Of The Most Holy Trinity – Cathedral

About Cathedral Of The Most Holy Trinity

Rising dramatically above the pastel buildings of downtown Hamilton, the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity is a Restoration Gothic-style Anglican church and the seat of the Bishop of Bermuda. Completed in 1905, it was built from native Bermuda limestone and decorative caen stone imported from France. Inside you’ll find stained glass, arches and an ornate wall behind the altar containing sculptures of Christ and several saints. If you’re up for it, climb the approximately 155 stairs to the top of the cathedral tower for panoramic views; look west and you’ll see as far as the Great Sound of Bermuda and even Royal Naval Dockyard.
