About Bermuda Society of Arts

Bermuda Society of Arts (BSoA) affectionately known as The Peoples Gallery, is located inside the City Hall & Arts Center. As you go up the magnificent cedar stairs, you will find it on the western wing. Bermuda Society of Arts is a charity and the oldest arts society in the island which was formed in 1952. Bermuda Society of Arts is now the central point of Bermuda's local arts scene.  It exhibits collections of artwork from mostly local artists. The artwork and the themes change every 3 weeks. The exhibiting artwork is for sale and you'll love what is available in Gallery Shop. The society also conducts regular classes (like Life Drawing Sessions) and also offers workshops conducted by eminent artists.

Celebrate love, identity, and expression at our Pride Open Mic Event — an evening of powerful voices, heartfelt stories, bold poetry, music, and more!

The evening will also include a community canvas: a live collaborative artwork created by attendees throughout the evening as performances, drinks, and joy fill the room.

Whether you're performing or just soaking up the vibes, come share in the joy, courage, and creativity of our vibrant LGBTQ+ community. All are welcome — allies included! Let's raise our voices, lift each other up, and make some unforgettable memories.
