Getting Around Bermuda

Once you arrive, navigating Bermuda is a breeze. Our airport is located in St. George’s, with stunning blue hues that greet you before you even touch down. From there, it’s a quick drive to everything our island has to offer – depending on traffic it only takes about an hour to drive from one end of the island to the other (but why would you rush?)

Planning Essentials

The Bermuda Dollar trades at the same rate as the U.S. dollar and carries the same symbol ($). Bermuda and the U.S. dollar are accepted interchangeably.

Located in the North Atlantic, Bermuda is recognised as one of the safest and most welcoming island nations. Bermuda consistently earns a Level 1 rating by the U.S. Department of State, which asks travellers to simply exercise normal precautions when visiting.

In addition to a round-trip ticket and a valid passport, visitors arriving by air or yacht will need to complete the free Arrival Card form prior to landing in Bermuda. Visiting yachts and crew should also refer to entry requirements for arriving by private vessel for additional information.

As of March 1, 2014, Bermuda entry visas and visa waivers are not required for tourist and business visitors and work permit holders.
