About Spirit of Bermuda – Bermuda Sloop Foundation

Sail the high seas aboard a reproduction 19th-century tall ship, modelled on the Royal Navy's Bermuda-built Shamrock class of sloop that patrolled the island’s waters during colonial times. Spirit of Bermuda is operated by the Bermuda Sloop Foundation, with goals of maintaining maritime heritage and teaching local youths how to sail. The ship is available for custom charters, from weddings to families looking for once-in-a-lifetime sailing experiences and even corporate team-building adventures

Meeting & Conferences

A colonial-era tall ship is the ideal setting for team building, with every man and woman pitching in to hoist the sails and keep the ship on course. Spirit of Bermuda is a handsome reproduction of a 19th-century sloop, and offers charters for corporate events and team-building exercises. An on-board facilitator can encourage learning opportunities that translate teamwork on the ship to each person's role and responsibilities in the workplace.

The only thing more romantic than a wedding on the ocean is a wedding aboard a stunning reproduction 19th-century sailing sloop as it slices the waters around Bermuda. Spirit of Bermuda can accommodate up to 50 guests, with space for catering and a bar, and can be booked for two hours up to a full day for weddings and other events.
