Artist in Residence
The Loren welcomes internationally acclaimed artist Alteronce Gumby for a three-week artist residency. Immersed in Bermuda's landscape, culture, and creative community, Gumby's time on island will inform both his studio practice and his ongoing exploration of colour, while fostering meaningful cultural exchange throughout the residency.  
 
Colour in Focus - Documentary Screening
An intimate evening of film and conversation at Marée, exploring colour as both material and social language.
The program features a screening of Color, Alteronce Gumby's documentary debut, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the artist and invited speakers.
Cocktails and canapés will be served throughout the evening.

The Loren's Artist in Residence program brings art and cuisine together for a one-night-only dining experience inspired by the work of Alteronce Gumby. This collaborative dinner explores colour as both inspiration and expression—interpreted through a thoughtfully crafted menu that reflects how colour is perceived across cultures. Guests will enjoy cocktails and the opportunity to meet the artist and chef before settling in for a multi-course dinner designed as a sensory extension of Gumby's work.
