No visit to Southampton is complete without spending time at Horseshoe Bay Beach. It’s definitely our most famous beach, and for good reason: the crescent of pink sand and clear blue waters truly live up to the hype. Venture beyond the main beach to discover smaller, more secluded coves nestled between the rock formations,  or come at low tide, when the beach is a little quieter and tide pools emerge. Seeking something a bit more off the beaten path? Whale Bay Beach is often less busy, perfect for a quiet dip surrounded by unique limestone formations.

For a different kind of view, head to the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, one of the oldest cast-iron lighthouses in the world. Climb to the top (185 steps, absolutely worth it) for 360-degree vistas of the entire island, a sight you won't soon forget.
