Ducking Stool Reenactment

The Corporation of St. George's is thrilled to invite visitors to explore the unique history and culture of the Town of St. George.

Ordnance Island, in the heart of the town, serves as the perfect starting point to begin exploring the town's historic sites. From the Bermuda National Trust Museum to the Towne Hall from 1797, visitors can explore the numerous colonial-era buildings that are located in close proximity to Ordnance Island. The Towne Hall, in particular, is a notable landmark of the bustling centre of the town and is a must-see for all visitors to St. George's. Along the waterfront is a replica ducking stool which is the site of reenactments in colonial costume.

 

St. George's Seafood Festival

Enjoy delicious fare and family fun as St. George's transforms into a seafood lover's delight. Try a variety of fish, shrimp, crab, and lobster dishes from Bermuda's best seafood vendors and enjoy local entertainment in a festival-like atmosphere.  Admission is free but pre-purchase food tickets here.
