West Whale Bay Park

Spot majestic humpback whales from the shore during March and April, as they migrate north to their summer feeding grounds. West Whale Bay Park overlooks the open Atlantic from Bermuda’s southwest coast, providing an ideal vantage point for both whale spotting and watching ocean sunsets. A large grassy area behind the beach has picnic tables and bathrooms, and you can explore the grounds of the nearby Whale Bay Fort and Battery, which dates to the mid-1700s. The small beach below is a popular local spot for shore fishing.
