The BNG Run for the Arts 5K brings runners, walkers, families and art lovers together for an energetic morning in North East Hamilton. Starting at Parsons Road Community Playground, the route takes participants through North East Hamilton, Happy Valley and Palmetto Road before returning to the playground.

Open to competitive athletes and casual participants alike, the event combines wellness, community and creativity. Participants can choose from a one-mile children's race, competitive 5K run, competitive 5K walk or non-competitive 5K run/walk.

Funds raised support large-scale public murals, professional-development opportunities for young Bermudians and the Bermuda National Gallery's education and internship programmes. Since its launch in 2023, Run for the Arts has helped finance five murals, transforming community spaces into an evolving open-air gallery.

The 2026 public-art commission is a sports-themed mural by Bermudian artist James Cooke at the Flora Duffy Stadium within the National Sports Centre. Sponsored by Ariel Re, the mural celebrates Bermuda's sporting achievements and the role sport plays in fostering identity, unity and community pride.
