Rooted Rise: A Sacred Return To Self — Art Month Intensive

About Rooted Rise: A Sacred Return to Self — Art Month Intensive

Rooted Rise Coaching invites you into A Sacred Return to Self — a 3-Day Intensive for the wombman who has spent so long giving, holding, and carrying everyone else that she quietly lost sight of herself along the way. This is not a workshop. This is a homecoming. Across three days, you will move through Release, Reconnect, and Rise — the sacred phases of our signature healing journey — held in circle with a tribe of wombmen doing this deep, connective work alongside you. Through therapeutic art, mindfulness, and soul-led reflection, you will lay down what no longer serves you, meet yourself again beneath the noise, and rise renewed — rooted in who you truly are. We close in circle, at a grazing table glowing with shared story, toasting in rosé to all that has been released and all that is rising. This is your invitation. Come home to yourself. A soft launch preview of the full 12-week Sacred Return to Self program, launching January 2027.

Date(s) and time(s): October 16–18, 2026 — daily start/end times TBD

Location: TBD

Participating artist(s): Tyasha (Teacher T), Founder & Certified Master Self Care & Healing Coach, Rooted Rise Coaching

Cassava Explores the relationship between island life, identity, spirituality, femininity, ancestry, and the everyday moments that often become our most meaningful memories. Through bold 2D imagery, textured painting, music, and atmosphere, the exhibition invites people to slow down, feel, remember, and connect with something within themselves.

Location: Mangrove Bay Corner, Nakada electric bike building. On the corner of Long Point Lane & Somerset Road

Artist note - This exhibition is also deeply owed to my grandmother and the legacy she represents. Her influence becomes part of the foundation of this body of work—a way of honouring where I come from while creating something that can be shared with everyone. In that way, the exhibition becomes a unifier: bringing different generations, backgrounds, and perspectives together through art.

As part of Art Month in Bermuda, you are invited to slow down, look more closely and experience photography in a different way.</p>

Slow Down & Notice is a creative experience that blends mindfulness, photography and connection. We'll begin together with a simple mindful practice designed to help you become more present and aware of what is around you. From there, we'll head out on a photography walk, using our phones to notice color, shape, light, texture, detail and the moments we might normally pass by.

This isn't about being a professional photographer or getting the perfect shot. No photography experience is needed. It is about seeing differently, becoming more intentional about where you place your attention and allowing photography to become a way of slowing down and being present.

After the walk, we'll share some of the images we've captured and talk about what we noticed along the way. We'll continue the conversation over wine and light refreshments, creating space for reflection, creativity and connection.

Bring your phone, your curiosity and a willingness to notice more.

Slow down. Notice more. Photograph with intention.
