About Kids Hour Saturdays at BUEI

Join BUEI for a fun-filled hour of entertainment for kids aged 5-13 years. Every Saturday guests can enjoy a short film screening and booking reading specially curated for young explores. Each month has a new theme. 

What to expect:

  • A engaging film screening that sparks imagination and creativity
  • A reading of a popular children's book that fosters a love for literature
  • An I-Spy sticker hunt throughout the museum, encouraging exploration and discovery

These occur at 11am and 2pm.

Get into the festive spirit with hands-on cookie decorating sessions designed for young creators! Each ticket includes organic cookies, decorating supplies, and a box of organic cookies to take home.

Session Schedule

  • Session 1: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

    Kick off the festivities by customizing gingerbread cookies with vibrant icing, sprinkles, and candies.
  • Session 2: Snowman & Rudolph Decorating (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM)

    Decorate sugar cookie snowmen with whimsical hats and scarves, and bring chocolate chip Rudolph cookies to life with festive details.
  • Session 3: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

    Dive back into the holiday fun with an afternoon session of gingerbread decorating using colorful icing and sweet toppings.

The Bermuda Dive Festival invites ocean lovers to experience one of the Atlantic's most remarkable underwater destinations while celebrating the island's deep connection to the sea. Bringing together divers, scientists, local operators, and visitors, the festival showcases Bermuda's vibrant reefs, historic wrecks, and thriving marine life. Anchored by programming at the ASU's Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, the event highlights the quality, diversity, and accessibility of Bermuda's waters while supporting local businesses and positioning the island as a world-class dive destination.

Guests can build skills and explore iconic sites through hands-on workshops and guided dives. Highlights include underwater photo and video training, a Fish ID certification course, and two-tank dives at celebrated locations. For a truly unique perspective, a there will be an evening bonfire and night dive at John Smith's Bay.

Beyond diving, the festival blends ocean adventure with curated lifestyle experiences that celebrate Bermuda's culture and natural beauty. Guests can unwind and reconnect through sunrise yoga and breath-hold meditation, and take part in a conservation-focused lionfish hunt followed by a seaside luncheon.
