About Gombeys in the City

Gombeys in the City brings Bermuda's traditional masked dancers to Front Street, Hamilton at the Bermuda Marquee sign. Featuring performances by Places Gombey Troupe, Phoenix Gombey Troupe, Evolution Gombey Troupe and Warwick Gombey Troupe these high-energy cultural performances include drumming, dance, and photo opportunities.

Join artist Otto Trott on Tuesdays and Thursday at his gallery Otto Trott Art Gallery during the month of October. Visitors can get the story behind any of the art that they see. Otto is normally painting everyday either en plain air around Bermuda or in his studio which is next to his gallery. If he is out working en plain air during October he will post his location on Instagram. If it is raining or stormy he is likely to be in his studio where he can come and meet you in the gallery on days not listed. Otto has been painting in Bermuda, his homeland, for over 50 years. He has a BFA in painting from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and he has won numerous awards for his art in Bermuda. He works in oil and watercolour in a realistic style showing scenes around Bermuda and Bermudian culture. His work in the gallery is for sale.
