About Bermuda Walls 2026 - Baileys Bay Community Wall
Get ready to celebrate creativity and culture at Bermuda Walls 2026! We're thrilled to announce the return of the colourful mural festival for its third year, showcasing an incredible lineup of both local and international talent.
The Bailey's Bay Project is a key installation within the Bermuda Walls initiative, located along the Railway Trail near Bailey's Bay Bridge in the East End of Bermuda. The site has been developed as a dedicated space for public art, bringing together a group of Bermudian artists to create a series of murals that reflect the island's culture, identity, and community.
This project focuses on activating an underutilized area and turning it into a visual landmark that locals and visitors can experience. Positioned along a well-traveled walking and cycling route, the murals are designed to be accessible and encountered naturally as part of the landscape.
Artists began work on-site in advance, developing their pieces in real time. The installation is scheduled to be completed on the 26th of April 2026, with a closing moment that includes music by DJ Rusty G, creating an opportunity for the public to engage with the space and the artists behind the work.
The Bailey's Bay Project is part of a broader effort by Bermuda Walls to support local artists, encourage cultural expression, and contribute to the ongoing development of public art across the island.
The project is currently supported by Hitch.bm, Belvin's Variety, and the Harvey Cooper Award.
