How Bermuda Will Make Your Golf Event Next-Level
Year-Round Play
Although it's 650 miles due east of North Carolina, the gulf stream helps create a temperate, pleasant climate in Bermuda all year long. That makes for ideal weather no matter the season.
Bermuda's Golf Footprint
For golfers, this island has an intriguing claim to fame: its area comprises more golf courses per square mile than anywhere else in the world, which means golf is engrained in island life. And at just 21 square miles, you're never far from a course – and plenty of things to do, dining and nightlife and places to stay. Wherever your event, you're bound to have stunning vistas.
Challenging Courses
Whether you're planning a youth golf clinic or a major pro golf tournament, the island has the perfect course for you. Ocean breezes and cliffside cuts take up the difficulty a notch or two, while inland holes (as well as a mini golf course featuring replicas of iconic holes) make for easygoing play if that's what you're after.
Practice Facilities
All of the island's public golf course (and one of the two private courses) have at least one or more practice facilities. All public courses have a chipping and a putting green; all but two (Newstead Belmont Hills and Turtle Hill Golf Club) have a driving range. They each also have an on-site pro shop for last-minute equipment needs.
Where to Stay
Some of the island's major resorts are also home to popular courses, including Rosewood Bermuda (Tucker's Point Club) and Newstead Belmont Hills. Wherever your group stays, they'll never be far from a course. Port Royal Golf Course is situated right next to Pompano Beach Club near the South Shore Beaches, while Ocean View Golf Course is just a short drive from City of Hamilton, home to the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club and other great hotels and resorts.
Golf Leaders
Since 1950, the Bermuda Golf Association has been the island's golf governing body. The organization has a hand in organizing professional and amateur tournaments on island that have attracted golfers from across the globe. BGA is the entity responsible for rating the island's courses and managing the handicapping system used island-wide, and offers rules officiating and consulting on major golf events.
Planning & Promotion
We don't just want to help you dot your i's and cross your t's; we want your golf event to be a resounding success, and are here to answer your questions and connect you with on-island resources and communities. Tour & Site Visits
While we're sure you'll love every thing you see out here, we know you'll want to inspect it in person. When you want to see courses in person and inspect potential venues for receptions and other related events, let us know. BTA is happy to arrange in-person tours of courses and event facilities. Some organizations are eligible for travel discounts when they conduct site visits, so contact BTA for details.

Potential assistance can include official welcome letters, brochures, maps, video and still photography, assistance with media, coach greetings and recommendations for group tours. Whether you're running a small golf clinic or an international professional tournament, BTA is here to get you to the 18th hole and beyond.
