Her fish day begins with the island’s classic breakfast dish, the codfish breakfast, consisting of dumplings, eggs, potatoes, sautéed onion, tomato – and codfish, of course. Add banana and avocado, and you’re eating breakfast like a Bermudian.
“This is amazing!” Katie exclaims. She loves Bermuda as much as she loves fish. “People on the island are crazy friendly,” she says.
It’s like British charm meets island soul … It’s basically heaven on earth.
Lunch at Woody’s is next, as Katie digs into a grilled wahoo sandwich, an island favorite. After getting her fill, she takes a glass-bottomed boat tour out on Bermuda’s beautiful waters, getting a closer look at undersea life. Next up – a trip to the famed Swizzle Inn for a Rum Swizzle, a powerful Bermuda cocktail made with Gosling’s Black and Gold Rum and fruit juices. Fish Day comes to a classy end at Blu Bar & Grill, where Katie enjoys the catch of the day – Red Hind. Cheers to Fish Day!
