Tobacco Bay Beach attracts snorkellers looking to discover a world under the waves. The water is calm and clear, offering you the chance to get up-close-and-personal with blue parrotfish, grouper, angelfish, blue head wrasses, sergeant majors and other unique species. Don’t worry about bringing any gear; kiosks on the beach have everything you need available to rent for the day. They’ve also got equipment for plenty of other on-the-water adventures, such as standup paddleboards and kayaks. For history buffs, a trip to the nearby Fort St. Catherine, one of Bermuda’s most formidable fortresses, is highly encouraged.

Of course, Tobacco Bay Beach is great for relaxing and soaking up the sun, too. There's plenty of sand to stretch out on, and surreal rock formations are likely to lure you into the turquoise-blue water. Make sure to pick up some tasty treats from the beach’s family-friendly restaurant – we recommend the Wahoo nuggets.
