Daniels Head Park

About Daniels Head Park

Find secluded shores and excellent snorkelling at Daniels Head Park, spanning 17 coastal acres on the West End. The two public, protected beaches have perpetually calm water and shallow reefs where snorkellers can spot angelfish, sergeant majors and other tropical species. Daniels Head was previously the site of the Canadian Forces Station, an army base used during WWII, and the empty barracks are still there. The park has bathrooms, showers and parking.
