Since 1988, the top names in competitive international rugby have headed to Bermuda – an island with deep rugby roots – for the World Rugby Classic. Since then, the Classic has become one of the most action-packed and highly anticipated events of Bermuda's sports calendar. The rugby action takes place at the Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire, just outside the City of Hamilton.
Event Schedule Highlights
The gates open at 12.30 pm on Sunday November 5 when Argentina plays Canada (2.30pm) followed by the Classic Lions against France (4.00pm)
On Monday, November 6 the gates open at 5.30 pm with New Zealand playing the United States (7.15pm) and Italy playing South Africa (8.30pm)
The Semi-Finals of both the Plate and the Classic will take place on Wednesday & Thursday (8th & 9th) evenings starting at 7.15 pm. The Finals will be on Saturday (11th) evening from 7.00pm

Admission & Tickets
- Daily admission to the grounds is $25; a five-day pass can be purchased for $100.
- The Members Tent, located behind the goal line, provides viewing from private tables. Enjoy an open bar and a gourmet buffet meal served by a top island caterer, Fourways, along with wines from the Gosling cellars. During this VIP experience, famous players from the past are entertained along with sponsors and special guests. Tables of ten can be reserved at $2,750 per day (Sunday & Monday) and $3,250 per day for Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- The Classic Club welcomes visiting players, and a limited number of badges are available to the public. A light meal and two complimentary drinks are included in the purchase price. Rates start at $175 per person per day for Sunday through to Thursday and $225 per person for Saturday. A five day ticket costs $700 per person and $1,200 per couple.
Event Hotel: Fairmont Southampton
The Fairmont Southampton on Bermuda's famous South Shore is the official hotel of the World Rugby Classic. Teams and international press will be staying at the hotel, and special Classic Packages are available.
