Bermuda Restaurant Weeks Returns for 2017

Bermuda’s foodie scene is thriving – and the best time to experience all the culinary delights the island has to offer is Bermuda Restaurant Weeks.

This year’s event takes place January 12 – February 3, 2017.

This annual celebration of the island’s unique food culture, features chefs at 42 of Bermuda’s top eateries showcasing their talents with special menus of three-course selections. Many restaurants are putting together special Bermuda-inspired items, highlighting the island’s flavourful mix of British, Caribbean, African, and Portuguese influences and ingredients.

Besides the delicious eats, there’s a wallet-friendly hook as well – Bermuda Restaurant Weeks’ Prix Fixe dinner menus start at $32, $42 and $52 per person. Want to discover even more flavours? New for 2017, can now enjoy a two-course prix fixe lunch menus for $22.

Bermuda-Inspired Highlights

The Newport, a Gastropub – Support regional farming and enjoy a fresh spin on authentic Bermudian dishes. Bermuda banana sticky toffee pudding with Gosling's rum caramel sauce, anyone?

The Harbourfront – Get the catch of the day – Bermuda-style: pan-fried filet of Bermuda fish topped with fried banana and almonds.

Devil’s Isle – Dig into Inventive, seasonal Bermudian cuisine and daily specials with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients. Don’t miss the Devil’s Isle Coffee Stout, brewed on-island with cold-steeped coffee. 

Café Amici – Head to the historic Royal Naval Dockyard to enjoy homemade Ravioli al Formaggio, filled with Ricotta cheese, simmered with fresh pesto and tomato sauce and topped with provolone and arugula.

The Lobster Pot – Chowderheads unite! The Lobster Pot has their Famous Fish Chowder and Island Conch Chowder on the menu this year – both laced with Gosling’s Black Seal rum and sherry peppers.
